The resort is directly next to the Sabie River with great chances of spotting game. we weren't there at the right time but other people saw approximately 15 elephants and other animals at the river.

Absolutely perfect start to our visit to Kruger. We had optional evening and full day guided tours into the park. Our deluxe tent was delightful. We had the end unit which was private and had a deck overlooking river. Food was great. Pool was pleasant. And enjoyed visiting with other guests around evening bonfire

We had a wonderful stay at Sabie River Bush Lodge! We stayed at the river frontage bush tent and its pretty worth it! We saw about 20 elephants, Buffalo and hippo fro our balcony in the evening passing by the river. This was an amazing experience! We had a private bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Tent was clean.

Kruger Gate is about 20/25 minutes away. We booked a full day drive, it was amazing. We all saw the Big 5 ( even lions hunting Buffalo!), cheetahs, zebras and so many else. This was awsome!

It was our first stay at Sabie River Bush Lodge and it was wonderful. Unfortunately we had only one night to stay. It is very close to Paul Kruger Gate so you can do self-drive at well or you can book a full-day or half-day trip to to the kruger National park at reception from Sabie River Bush Lodge. We stayed in a tent with a stunning view over he garden, the pool and directly into the bush, we always saw some Elephants near the fence. The accommodation is not knew but totally clean. The restuarant has a perfect African style and nice breakfast, lunch and dinner! Hope to come back for some days more!

Great lodge located at the edge of the Kruger Park. At breakfast on the first day we saw Rhions and during lunch the second day there were elephants at the river. The accommodation is super clean and the people are really friendly.

The family apartment/villa right on the river was clean and comfortable. The view over river was fabulous! we enjoyed watching elephant washing during our lunch and buffalo early in the morning and hippos right in front of our balcony at night. Fantastic ! the deck is a lovely place to relax the pool is a small and rather tired looking, but will cool you down. The location is great.

My favorite place we stayed in South Africa. Nice rooms, great pool overlooking the Sabie river where we saw elephants the first day. The food was superb - this place is such a good value for money, very reasonable priced. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They even wash your car every day!!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay of 4 nights at the lodge. Everyday we had hippos and elephants in front of the lodge playing in the Sabie River. This made the experience even better. We had a great room with a lovely bed! Highly recommended!

Terrace with river view is a nice feature. You can watch the hippo's while drinking a glass of wine. Good location if you need to go to Sabie or Kruger next day.

We were wowed by the staff, their friendliness, helpfulness. They changed a double bed to accommodate my husband and dad! They even arranged for power for our fridge as we were going to be camping in the park! Nothing was too much for the staff! we definitely going back!

Lovely place with a view to the river which attracts a lot of animals. We saw loads of Elephants, two hippos and a crocodile from the deck that view the river. Dinner was great and staff also. The game drives were very professional. Highly recemmended.

Our stay was really very good. We think its more of a 4* Lodge. The food at breakfast and dinner was served by friendly staff and was very nice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some trouble next to the lodge and Kruger Park but the security and staff were really looking after us and other guests till everything was calmed down, we felt very secure there. And a surprise was that our dirty/ dusty car was washed every morning. A place to go back to.

This place was idyllic on the banks of Sabie River with two hippos entertaining us in the river at breakfast time. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly - we found our car had been washed when we were heading off in the morning. We felt very secure within the hotel compound and would definitely come back.

    Dear Mr Manager.
We loved our stay in Sabie River Bush Lodge. It was beyond expectations! The view is awesome! All members are very kind and made our stay a real pleasure. The meals are very good. Willem the ranger is well known in Kruger Park. We spotted the Big Five in less than three hours and many more animals like: Hyenas eating a Buffalo. We did the morning game drive!

    a Highly recommended Lodge.

Great location, Stayed in the self catering tent which had separate kitchen, individual shower (male and Female) dedicated to our tent and a shared toilet (x2) with two other tents. Tent was air conditioned with private balcony with river view. Great views of the Sabie river with animal spotting. And they washed our car!!!

We found the staff extremely helpful. They even held breakfast for us when we had an early start to the elephants. Something we really appreciated. Dinner at the boma by the river was lovely. The luxury bush tent was away from main area something we really liked and very close to the river. Only regret we could not sty longer. If you want the Africa experience then this is the place.

Excellent place this- just on the edge of Kruger National Park (it is just beyond the fence) it is the perfect base from which to explore the park (especially if the lodges in the park are too full or too expensive) Great staff too

Very close to Kruger Park and when we just arrived there was a family of Elephant just grazing at the river. Later also hippos and in the morning a buffalo and again the Elephants! We could view them from the tent, amazing. I forgot his name but the security man who brings you to the room washes your car very nice!! Loved the view, people and accommodation. Small little point is in the tent noise from the road and music from the little town. But if you accept that (only in a tent) than you have an amazing view and for a good price a good stay. Would definitely recommend it!
